Acute Support for Children & Families
Â
The FEM Hotline is a short, focused support call designed to help families navigate acute, non-emergent symptoms and gain clarity on supportive next steps using FEM principles.
This offering is ideal when something feels time-sensitive and you need guidance in the moment, without stepping into ongoing or foundational care.
It can also be a supportive reset or grounding check-in when you want a practitioner-level perspective to help you orient, take your first steps or reconnect to the work with confidence.

Rebecca M. (5th-Year FEM)
“Laurel has been and IS a pillar of support and knowledge in the FEM community. She has helped so many of us over the years by generously sharing what she’s learned and experienced herself. Her beautiful and unique way of offering support came through for me when I had an intense experience with "CV" in December of 2021. She was instrumental in how I moved through that illness with confidence, grace and curiosity. Together we implemented a protocol (specific to my body’s needs) and made shifts as time went on. Her calm, encouraging, caring, collected, yet direct (when I needed her to be) nature was such a welcomed and foundational presence for me. I now lovingly refer to her as my "CV" Doula. Laurel is a radiant community member with a wealth of knowledge. Her intuitive way of providing care and support is such a gift to receive. Eternally grateful to know and be in relationship with her. ✨”Â
Leticia G. (4th-Year FEM)
"Two years ago, when everyone around me seemed to be struggling with acute illness and congestion, I was afraid for my family. I reached out to Laurel and she gave me a protocol to keep on hand. I ordered all the supplies and kept them in case I needed them and this past fall was the first time my family needed support. I felt so confident digging into my tools - and we were able to move quickly through acute illness. Over the holidays I noticed many members of my extended family and friends struggling with acute illness, too. I was able to share everything I learned from Laurel with them. It is so empowering to have the knowledge and tools to move through acute illness quickly and successfully. I am no longer afraid and it's reassuring to be surrounded by a group of knowledgeable women (such as Laurel) that are always ready to jump in and help."
Shannon S. (6th-Year FEM)
“Laurel has been a God-send to me and my family. She has a unique ability to see clearly during times of crisis, maintain facts and details, outline the bigger picture, connect the dots, and lay down an approach to sifting out the unneeded and uncovering the missing links. Her calm, confident, and straightforward personality holds space and courage to move through crises when you’re feeling lost or defeated.Â
Amber G. (4th-Year FEM)
“I wanted to take a moment to tell you how much I appreciated Laurel and Bethany coming to my rescue when my 10-year-old son came down with poison ivy.Â
Pam (5th-Year FEM)
“I started working with Laurel in 2019 when she introduced my dad and me to Tonya's work. Little did I know the journey we would travel. Laurel was instrumental in guiding me through my dad's illness. She was with me every step of the way then and now. She continues to coach me on my own personal path. Laurel is very knowledgeable, non-judgmental, open and honest. She supports me and my decisions. I wouldn't have had the personal growth without her and to be honest, wouldn't have wanted to travel this path without her."Â

Jacklyn S. (6th-Year FEM)
I just wanted to share my experience with the support I received from Laurel. I am postpartum (11 weeks) and at two weeks postpartum, my two older kids were sick with RSV. Unfortunately, my newborn was not spared from illness and came down with it as well. I was very overwhelmed by everyone being ill and needed some support. I posted on our FB group and Laurel was quick to direct me to the information I needed (how to nebulize saline/hydrogen peroxide/iodine). She also offered her recommendations, checked in with me over the next few days, "held my hand" and listened to my overwhelming emotions all while affirming me. I am positive that Laurel's willingness and availability to answer my questions, help me come up with a treatment plan, make recommendations, and just be there for me helped my family's outcome. I was able to get through that season and come out stronger, more educated, and empowered by the support I received.  Â
